The fake passport used by Adolf Eichmann went on display at the Buenos Aires Holocaust Museum. Eichmann was a high-ranking Nazi official who escaped to Argentina in 1950. Eichmann left behind the passport he used to escape Europe when Israeli agents abducted him in 1960. He was hanged two years later for his crimes against humanity. On the passport, discovered by an Argentine Federal Judge while opening the Eichmann file, he used the alias Ricardo Klement. The document went on display Tuesday. The passport is on display along with photographs, letters, possessions and oral testimonies of concentration camp survivors, according to Mario Feferbaum, president of the Foundation for the Memory of the Holocaust, which oversees the Buenos Aires museum.
