Hamas gunmen have surrounded the stronghold of the group holding a British journalist.Members of Hamas have taken up positions in the Gaza neighborhood where the Army of Islam is based, The Associated Press reported. The group has been holding BBC journalist Alan Johnston captive for nearly four months.This follows the arrest of one of the Army of Islam’s senior spokespeople by Hamas, which pledged to secure Johnston’s release after it took control of the Gaza Strip several weeks ago.
