Almost two dozen teachers from the United Kingdom are participating in a 10-day Holocaust training seminar at the Yad Vashem memorial museum in Jerusalem.
The training course, organized by the British Holocaust Educational Trust and Yad Vashem, includes presentations by some of Israel’s leading Holocaust educators. Participants will also visit some of Israel’s historic sights, including Masada and the Dead Sea.
“I am really proud that we can facilitate this course for UK teachers,” said Karen Pollock, chief executive of the Holocaust Educational Trust.
