Eight Israelis were believed to be among 74 people killed in a plane crash in Thailand.

Approximately 42 were hospitalized, including two Israelis, with various levels of injury, as a result of Sunday’s crash in the Thai resort of Phuket. Fourteen were missing.

The Foreign Ministry in Jerusalem issued a statement confirming that 10 Israelis had been aboard the budget One-Two-Go Airlines domestic flight carrying 123 mostly foreign passengers and five crew members to Phuket from the Thai capital, Bangkok.
