Israel sent $25,000 in emergency aid to victims of Hurricane Felix in Nicaragua.
The donation, comprising mainly medical supplies, was announced Monday by the Foreign Ministry in Jerusalem. The equipment is expected to reach the Latin American country by week’s end.
The International Red Cross made an appeal to the international community for help as a result of Felix, which left dozens of people dead and thousands homeless.
