Two Israelis were wounded in a Palestinian drive-by shooting in the West Bank.

Gunmen in a van opened fire Wednesday on a bus stop outside Ariel. The two people wounded were described in initial media reports as adult male civilians.

Fatah claimed responsibility for the shooting, which was condemned by Palestinian Authority Prime Minister Salam Fayyad.

Israeli forces searched the area but there were no immediate reports of arrests.
