Condoleezza Rice to speak at G.A.

Condoleezza Rice will speak at the General Assembly of the United Jewish Communities.

Sources familiar with the situation said the U.S. secretary of state will speak at the closing plenary session in Nashville, Tenn., on Nov. 13.

The annual conference of professional and lay leaders of Jewish federations from across the country typically attracts several thousand participants.

Other notable speakers at this year’s assembly include Israel’s foreign minister, Tzipi Livni, and the chairman of the Democratic National Committee, Howard Dean. Both will speak at the opening plenary session on Nov. 11.
