Repeated anti-Semitic incidents in Paris have sparked great concern among the city’s Jews.
A wave of violent anti-Semitic incidents over the last three weeks in the Albert Camus neighborhood of the 10th Quarter has Jewish residents concerned for their safety, Ynet news reported.
All four of the incidents involved Jewish teenagers and children. In three incidents, Jewish teens were assaulted on the street and at a soccer game. On the heels of the incidents, a group of 8-year-olds called a Jewish classmate “a stinking Jew.”
A special police unit is now patrolling the neighborhood every few hours, according to Ynet.
