An Irish government delegation to Israel came under rocket fire from Hamas while visiting Sderot.
The four members of Ireland’s parliament, who were in Israel recently to hold meetings with Israelis and Palestinians, had to take shelter in the basement of Sderot’s local government offices when an alarm sounded during a meeting they were having with the town’s mayor, Ireland’s Sunday Business Post reported.
On the day of the visit, Hamas fired 10 rockets at the town. Nobody from the delegation was harmed in the attack.
