JDate has launched a sister site in the United Kingdom.
The online community for Jewish singles opened the site Tuesday, according to CNNMoney.com. In addition to its online features, JDate will offer United Kingdom-based parties and events.
Nearly 300,000 Jews live in the United Kingdom, making it the fifth largest Jewish population in the world.
“We are thrilled to bridge the Atlantic divide and re-introduce the U.K. Jewish community to JDate,” said Greg Liberman, the president and chief operating officer of Spark Networks, which owns and operates JDate.
The Archive of the Jewish Telegraphic Agency includes articles published from 1923 to 2008. Archive stories reflect the journalistic standards and practices of the time they were published.
