Israel’s Embassy in Washington is joining with the Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial library mark Israel’s 60th birthday.
The May 12-18 week of events, cosponsored by the embassy, the library and B’nai B’rith International, is called “Share the Dream, Live the Reality.”
It will feature an exhibit of 60 Israeli artists who use backgammon-themed works to depict the pursuit of peace, as well as music, films and lectures.
