Hillary Clinton won the West Virginia presidential primary by a margin of 2-to-1.

Clinton defeated Barack Obama in Tuesday’s primary with 67 percent of the vote. Obama too 26 percent of the vote, though he did not spend much time campaigning in the state.

The win in the small state will not help Clinton to catch up in the delegate race but, according to the New York Times, does raise questions about whether Obama can carry swing states in the general election.

Polls of voters showed that race was a big issue to West Virginia voters, according to the New York Times.
