Five skinheads were arrested in Russia in connection with synagogue vandalism.

Police arrested the suspected neo-Nazis July 3 in the southern Russian city of Orenburg after linking them to the painting of a swastika on the night of April 11.

During the investigation, police found leaflets and other signs that a member of the group belonged to the skinhead movement, according to the local interior ministry.

“All of them belong to the skinhead movement,” the ministry’s news service told Interfax news agency.

The suspects will be charged with inciting religious violence or hatred.
