The umbrella organization of the North American Jewish federation system will be moving its offices.
According to a memo posted on the Web site of the United Jewish Communities, the UJC’s board of trustees approved a move to 25 Broadway in Lower Manhattan. The July 9 memo calls the move a “unique opportunity that takes advantage of several coalescing factors that offered a move to a great downtown New York location that would meet our needs for the long-term.”
The UJC is currently located in Chelsea. The memo does not say if the space is bigger, larger or less expensive than the UJC’s current offices, nor does it say when the organization will move.
