A historic Toronto cemetery reopened after suffering damage in a massive propane explosion.
Mount Sinai Memorial Park was deemed safe on Tuesday, just two days after an explosion at a nearby propane facility shattered windows in its chapel and scattered debris across the grounds, the National Post reported.
For the time being, only immediate family and a limited number of vehicles will be permitted, according to Phil Grenfell, the cemetery manager.
Opened in the 1920s, the cemetery is one of Toronto’s oldest Jewish burial grounds.
