Eight Torah scrolls stolen from a New York City synagogue were recovered.
Police on Thursday arrested a maintenance worker and alleged accomplice on charges of criminal possession of stolen property, AM New York reported.
The scrolls were stolen last month from the Jewish Center of Kew Gardens Hills in Queens.
