An investigation into Iran’s nuclear program has made little progress, according to the United Nations’ nuclear watchdog.

The probe into allegations that Iran is developing a nuclear warhead have reached a standstill because Iran has not cooperated with the investigation, the International Atomic Energy Agency said in a report released Monday.

The confidential report also said Iran had installed 3,820 centrifuges enriching uranium, 500 more than in May, and are working to install over 2,000 more, Reuters reported.

The IAEA report said Iran is far from refining enough uranium to build a nuclear weapon. An unnamed official told Reuters it would take Iran about two years to enrich enough uranium to build a nuclear warhead.

The report will be discussed by the IAEA’s board of governors next week.

Iran’s Foreign Ministry spokesman Hasan Qashqavi said Monday that Iran expects the IAEA not to be influenced by foreign government pressure, particularly the United States, Iran’s official IRNA news agency reported.
