Three new illegal outposts in the West Bank were removed by the Israeli army.
The new civilian outposts were established Sunday by members of the right-wing Land of Israel Faithful and Youth for the Land of Israel movements, with events that included planting trees and building sukkahs on the sites. The army did not prevent the Sunday events.
Early Monday morning the Israel Defense Forces declared the areas a closed military zone and the activists evacuated peacefully. The army then destroyed the sukkot located on the hilltop outposts.
The new outposts, according to a release from the IDF Spokesman’s Office, were established on Sela Ridge, near the settlement of Bracha, south of Nablus; Migron Ridge near Israeli community of Migron, east of Ramallah; and Ma’alot Halhul, north of Hebron.
