More than 400 pro-Israel college students are coming to Washington this weekend, and AIPAC is bringing out the big names.
The organization’s annual Saban Leadership Seminar, titled "A New Beginning," includes appearances from former special Middle East envoy — and Obama adviser — Dennis Ross, former top Hillary Clinton campaign official Ann Lewis, and Israeli ambassador Sallai Meridor. The Dec. 20-23 event also includes talks from former editor of The New Republic Peter Beinart, scholars Shibley Telhami and David Makovsky and a session with the Jewish liaisions from the Obama, Clinton and McCain campaigns — as well as numerous AIPAC staffers.
AIPAC said the college students scheduled to attend hail from 125 schools in 35 states.
