St. Jude Pays $300 Million for Israeli Start-up

A major American medical technology company purchased an Israeli start-up for $300 million.

St. Jude Medical, which serves doctors and patients in more than 100 countries, purchased MediGuide, which has developed technology and products for procedures that are minimally invasive.

MediGuide was founded in 2000 after spinning off from Elbit Systems, an Israel-based global defense electronic company.
