JERUSALEM (JTA) — Israel’s Elbit Systems Ltd. and Israel Aerospace Industries inked a combined $141 million deal with the Turkish Air Force.
The IAI and Elbit subsidiaries will supply Turkey’s Air Force with airborne air and space imagery intelligence systems over the next four years, Israel’s business daily Globes reported.
A defense electronics developer, Elbit is one of Israel’s largest defense contractors.
The prime contractor for the project is the Turkish military electronics manufacturer Aselsan.
