JERUSALEM (JTA) — Ten Israelis are being held for allegedly scamming elderly Americans out of $30 million.

A Tel Aviv court on Monday ordered the accused members of the crime ring, who were arrested Sunday, to be held for eight more days.

The three leaders of the crime ring and seven of their employees who were arrested, as well as dozens of other Israeli employees, allegedly defrauded retirees of their life savings in a telemarketing scam, Ha’aretz reported.
