JERUSALEM (JTA) — Three Palestinians armed with knives were arrested trying to infiltrate a West Bank settlement.
The men arrested Thursday by Israeli security forces tried to break past a military outpost and infiltrate the Mitzad settlement, located near Bethlehem, according to an Israeli army spokesman.
The Palestinians, who were carrying knives nearly 8 inches long, confessed to planning to attack soldiers on an army base in the settlement, Israel Radio reported.
