To the Editor:
Whether the Dead Sea Scrolls are "spoils of war" or not, they belong to Israel. I was located on an American warship off the coast of Israel during the Six-Day War in June 1967 and watched closely the accounts of Gen. Moshe Dayan.
All lands and property captured by the Jewish people during that time should never be returned. Dayan should have not returned the keys of the mosque on the Temple Mount to the Muslims. That property belongs to all Judeo-Christians throughout the world.
I pray that the Israeli prime minister does not give in to the pressure of the White House of giving up lands and cease building homes along the West Bank or anywhere that belongs to Israel.
