To the Editor:
Re Brooklyn rabbi accused of extortion, blackmail: It is way past time to purge our ranks of these dishonest abusive and wicked men who call themselves rabbi and protectors of Judaism. Let these "false prophets" fall by the wayside, and let us keep our faith and our values. Let us show the world we are not cut from the same cloth as these horrible examples of the Jew.
Faith in America is so twisted up with profit and greed that many who would be faithful turn away because of what they see. This is the antithesis of our responsibility to humanity.
