JERUSALEM (JTA) — A Kassam rocket fired from Gaza hit a packing plant in the western Negev.
The rocket fired very early Wednesday morning caused serious damage to the building, but no injuries were reported, according to the Israeli military. Equipment and other buildings in the vicinity also were damaged.
Several mortar shells and a Kassam rocket have struck southern Israel in the last week.
