JERUSALEM (JTA) — An earthquake measuring 3.6 on the Richter scale was felt throughout northern Israel.
No injuries or damage were reported from the Saturday evening temblor.
The earthquake was reportedly felt most strongly in northern communities of the Jordan Valley such as Beit She’an, Afula and Tiberias. The epicenter has not yet been identified.
Residents sought shelter in stairwells and bomb shelters, Haaretz reported.
