Revisiting The Eichmann Trial: An overflow crowd of more than 400 people turned out last week to hear historian Deborah Lipstadt discuss with Jewish Week editor Gary Rosenblatt her new book, “The Eichmann Trial,” on the 50th anniversary of the trial’s opening. The event, held April 14 at the Center for Jewish History, was sponsored by The Jewish Week and Nextbook. Lipstadt emphasized that the Eichmann trial was the first to give voice to Holocaust survivors, dozens of whom testified.
