The latest from Jerusalem: A fast waiter and a four-legged chicken

Bassel Halawani is one fast waiter:

I’ll bet he won’t be serving anyone this chicken though:

Apparently the chicken has prompted some rabbinic debate over whether four-legged fowl can still be kosher. But given this chicken’s popularity, it seems unlikely that it would be sent to the shochet in any case. Which means that four-leggedness may confer some evolutionary advantage to chickens, even if the hind legs don’t seem to be operational.

Good tidings from the holy city. From now on I turn to New Tang Dynasty Television and Nuestra Tele Noticias 24 Horas for all my Jerusalem news.
