A week after Jadakiss said that he didn’t mean to record a diss track about papa-to-be Jay-Z, Drake has said very much the same thing.
“I just got a beat and did a verse over it,” Drake told MTV about his contribution to Weezy’s track, I’m Good, which appears on the latter’s latest album, Tha Carter IV.
It’s the oldest excuse in the book — the ol’ “I got a beat and did a verse over it.”
