JERUSALEM (JTA) — The daughter of a couple murdered in their West Bank home was among the West Bank settlers who clashed with Palestinians harvesting olives.

Tamar Fogel was among the members of the Fogel family who reportedly took part in Sunday’s clash with the Palestinians, who reportedly were harvesting olives inside the Jewish settlement of Itamar.

The workers were working on land belonging to the Awad family of the nearby village of Hawarta. Two members of the Awad family murdered five members of the Fogel family of Itamar — Tamar’s parents and three siblings — as they slept in their home. Tamar was 12 at the time of the attack in March.

At least three Palestinians were injured by stones thrown by the Jewish settlers, the French news agency AFP reported. Israeli soldiers arrived to protect the harvesters.

The violence comes on the heels of damage last week to both Palestinian- and Jewish-owned olive trees in the area.
