People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals is an organization that strives to get attention by showing how many famous people don’t eat animals or wear fur, and this time they chose a form of communication used daily by all of us: postage stamps.
A new campaign, which will be launched tomorrow, features famous vegetarians throughout history, including da Vinci, Tolstoy, Paul McCartney, TV host Bob Barker, and many others. Among them is Natalie Portman, a well-known animal rights activist and an every day vegan.
Portman stated: “Eating for me is how you proclaim your beliefs three times a day.”
The stamps can be purchased throughout December at www.PETA.org.
