The Eulogizer apologizes for being irregular and minimalist in filing items in recent weeks. We have been preparing for and then celebrating our son’s bar mitzvah, and the joys of celebrating life have made filing items for this blog a challenge.
The celebrations and post-event activities are nearly done, and the Eulogizer expects to rev back up to regular cruising speed in coming days. In the meantime, please feel free to send emails with comments, suggestions, items you may have written and ideas for future postings.
In the meantime, here are a few interesting lives that deserve mention:
- Rabbi J. Harold Romirowsky dies at 90 in Philadelphia.
- New Jersey Cantor Norman Summers dies at 84.
- Miles Kletter, a dentist and Jewish community leader in upstate New York and southern Florida, dies at 69.
The Eulogizer highlights the life accomplishments of famous and not-so-famous Jews who have passed away recently. Write to the Eulogizer at eulogizer@jta.org.
