JERUSALEM (JTA) — Israel, the United States and Greece are participating in a naval drill in the Mediterranean Sea.

The exercise, called Noble Dina, is being called a message to Turkey, which has severed ties with Israel and Greece in recent years. It began March 26 and is scheduled to end Thursday.

Prior to 2010, the U.S. Sixth Fleet and the Israeli Navy held a yearly exercise with the Turkish navy, but the exercise was canceled following the breakdown in relations between Turkey and Israel.
