Unranked Israel eeked out a 14-13 victory Monday over No. 11 Wales in a matchup between the two previously undefeated teams.
With the victory, Israel finishes the preliminary round 4-0 and gets a bye into Wednesday’s quarterfinal round of the tournament in Amsterdam. They’ll face the winner of Tuesday’s Czech Republic vs. Finland or Netherlands game.
