(JTA) — A minority rights association in Tunisia filed an incitement complaint against an imam who prayed for the removal of Jews from the earth.

The Tunisian Association to Support Minorities filed the complaint on Wednesday against Sheikh Ahmad Al-Suhayli for hateful incitement against Jews, AFP reported on Wednesday.

During a Friday sermon broadcast live on November 30 on Hannibal TV, Al-Suhayli told his followers: “Oh Allah, you know everything that those accursed Jews have done … Oh Lord, do not leave a single one of them on Earth … Allah, make the wombs of their women barren, and dry up the loins of their men. Strike them with Your hatred and wrath.”

The video, which was posted online and translated by the Middle East Media Research Institute (MEMRI), also shows Al-Suhayli saying “The Jews continued with their deviations and transgressions. Those accursed Zionist Jews even had the audacity to slay the prophets of Allah,” and: “The Koran exposed the evil psyche of the Jews. Destroy this gang of Jews.”
