JERUSALEM (JTA) — Palestinians and Jewish West Bank settlers clashed for a second day over land that both sides claim as their own.

Settlers from the Esh Kodesh outpost near the Shiloh settlement and Palestinians attempting to plow a field between the outpost and the Palestinian village of Qusra both set tires and fields on fire.

The Palestinians plowed in the field on Tuesday, which led to the first set of clashes, which included rocks being thrown at Israeli soldiers.

Israel’s Supreme Court recently ruled that the Palestinians could plow the land, according to Israeli media, citing security sources.

Outpost residents have cultivated the tract of land for 10 years, The Jerusalem Post reported, citing outpost residents.
