The editorial board of The Jewish Week should be ashamed for not opposing the appointment of Sen. Chuck Hagel. Not to fight the elevation of an anti-Semite and a harsh critic of Israel to secretary of Defense is unforgiveable.
Even more disgusting was the fact that all the Jewish Democrats in the Senate marched in lockstep with Obama to support Hagel. When the choice for Jewish leftists
is between the welfare of the Jewish people and socialism, the Jewish people and Israel lose. Sometimes I think that Jewish leftists have more disdain for white Christians who support Israel than they have support for Israel’s allies.
