The latest Shia LaBeouf controversy involved the young troublemaker and Alec Baldwin as the two prepared for their new Broadway play “Orphans.” The feud ended with Baldwin on top, as Labeouf was forced to leave the production and was replaced by Ben Foster.
And that was the very end of that drama.
Yeah, right.
Last week, LaBeouf showed up to the show’s very first preview. And if that’s not creepy, he sat in the first row. To add to that, he was the first person to stand up for the standing ovation.
LaBeouf claims he bought a ticket and showed up “as a fan.”
It remains unclear what he was trying to accomplish, but during a Monday interview with David Letterman, LaBeouf decided it’s time to set the record straight.
When Letterman confronted him about the feud, and suggested a scenario where “Alec went to the producers and said, ‘I can’t take it another day, fire him,'” LaBeouf confirmed Letterman’s suspicions.
After that, LaBeouf showed a somewhat apologetic side, saying that Baldwin is great actor and he wishes him the “best of luck.”
Will that be the end of that? Ball’s in your court, Baldwin!
