JERUSALEM (JTA) — Israeli President Shimon Peres launched an app on his Facebook page that allows followers to submit questions that he promises to answer.
The application, “You ask, President Peres answers,” was launched Monday. The questions with the most likes will be answered personally by the president, according to his office.
A Christian follower asked Peres how he can best support the State of Israel. Peres also was asked why young people are choosing to leave the country. He has been invited for Shabbat dinner, as well.
Peres has more than 182,600 followers on his official Facebook page.
