Disney has bought the rights for the Israeli documentary “Dolphin Boy,” with the intention of turning it into a feature, The Times of Israel reports.
The film tells the story of Morad, an Arab Israeli teenager who loses his ability to communicate after being attacked by classmates, and then regains his speech with the help of dolphins in Eilat.
A score for Israel — and for American movie-going parents who lost hope in the industry after sitting through “Free Bird.”
