NEW YORK (JTA) — Moment Magazine and eJewish Philanthropy are jointly producing a “guide to giving.”

Beginning in the May/June 2014 edition of Moment – in print and online – eJewish Philanthropy will provide editorial content and guidance for the enhanced section to include news and notes from the world of Jewish giving.

Moment is the largest independent Jewish magazine in North America, while eJewish Philanthropy is geared to the professional Jewish community.

“While Moment Magazine has a different overall focus than eJewish Philanthropy, we are both strong, growing independent publications in the ever-changing Jewish media landscape,” said Dan Brown, the founder of eJewish Philanthropy. “By leveraging Moment’s print publication with eJewish Philanthropy’s knowledge of the Jewish philanthropic space, we will raise awareness of Jewish giving as we focus on the intersection of new generations of leaders and donors, and the challenges facing our Jewish community.”

Moment, which was co-founded by Elie Wiesel and Leonard Fein in 1975, says it has more than 100,000 readers of its print publication and another half-million online.  EJewish Philanthropy, launched in 2007 as an online publisher, reports that its website receives more than 150,000 visitors a month.
