JERUSALEM (JTA) — Taylor Swift reportedly has been offered as much as $2.5 million to perform in Tel Aviv.
Ynet reported the figure this week, citing unnamed sources in the Israeli music industry, for a Yarkon Park performance likely in June, when the American pop singer’s new concert tour arrives in Europe. No contracts have been offered.
Swift’s representatives have been holding talks in recent weeks with four producers and agents to have the Grammy Award winner play Tel Aviv.
Swift, 25, has sold more than 30 million albums and 80 million digital single downloads.
