Regarding “Remembering Israel’s First General” (Oct. 30): Several years ago, my wife and I had a subscription to a concert series at Eisenhower Theater at West Point. We went up early one day to visit the grave of Mickey Marcus, thinking, frankly, that we’d be the only ones to have had that thought. We were quite pleasantly surprised to see its prime location near the cemetery’s entrance and that the gravestone was covered with rocks.
It was very heart warming to see that he was still remembered in the hearts of American Jews.
