(JTA) — An Israeli soldier was moderately injured in a stabbing attack in the West Bank city of Hebron.
The soldier was attacked Thursday in the Tel Rumeida neighborhood and was evacuated to a Jerusalem hospital with stab wounds to his shoulder and hand. The two attackers were shot dead by security forces at the scene, according to the Israeli army.
Medical personnel said the soldier was in stable condition and had not lost consciousness, the Times of Israel reported.
