Thank you for highlighting the life and work of Rabbi Aaron Panken (“A Deep, Deep Jewish Soul,” May 11). I had the opportunity to meet him years ago. I also enjoyed his frequent visits to Temple Emanu-El. He was a man of conviction and consensus building. The Zionist movement lost a true giant and champion.
May his memory be a blessing.
