In accepting the support of the extremist party of Otzma Yehudit, a racist group [that is a] successor to Meir Kahane, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has made it clear he has no interest in seeking ways in which Israel is to be recognized as a member in good standing in a Democratic society (“Bibi’s Election Deal Seen As Blow To Israel-Diaspora Ties,” March 1).
His sole self-interest is a job. Like old soldiers who never die, but just fade away, Netanyahu’s time has come to follow suit.
