The Jewish community response to [Rep. Ilhan] Omar’s anti-Semitic statements and her ability to gain all this attention has backfired on us. (“Push For ‘Real Debate’ On Israel Hits Headwinds,” March 15)
We should say to her that she is right, we do buy influence, as does every other cause. In fact, instead of paying terrorists’ families money to slaughter innocent Israelis, Omar should suggest to the Palestinian Authority to use that money to buy influence the same way she cries about our community.
On the other hand, her constant obsession with our power must really bother her and we must be doing something right.
