More than $1,000,000 will be distributed among 54 Jewish institutions and organizations under the will left by Philip Schoenfeld, Orthodox Jewish industrialist, who died four years ago at the age of 70, it was reported here today.
Most of the institutions are religious schools and Jewish orphanages in this country and Israel. The United Jewish Appeal will also receive a substantial sum. Mr. Schoenfeld was known as a contributor to various Jewish Orthodox causes during his lifetime. He was a widower with no children and was survived by two sisters and a brother.
