More than 1, 300 teenage delegates from 375 Conservative congregations in the United States and Canada adopted resolutions, at their annual convention here, supporting the separation of church and state, urging expansion of religious education among Jewish youth, and calling upon Jewish teenagers to deepen their commitments to Jewish observances.
The convention elected Richard Hoffman, of Chicago, as president of their organization, the United Synagogue Youth, which includes 22, 000 members in 570 chapters.
